Hormone Office Hours

The pHRT Edition

There is no shortage of information about hormone therapy.

But if you want to understand the why behind your care, the standard answers can leave a lot unanswered.

We want to have the conversations that go deeper.

So we're doing something different. This for the women who don’t accept that a patch and a pill alone will fix everything. This is for you if you know that there’s more.

Join Aurelia founder and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Emily Sadri and Clinical Pharmacist Mai Tran for a live conversation about physiologic hormone replacement therapy.

We'll start with a brief, 20-minute teaching on how pHRT actually works, including why timing, dosing, delivery method, and formulation matter.

Then we'll spend the rest of our time answering your questions live.

Maybe you're wondering whether your current HRT is actually working.

Why progesterone makes you feel worse instead of better.

Whether your dose is high enough.

Or why your clinician chose a patch instead of a cream.

Maybe you’ve heard that one method is “wrong” and another is “right,” but you don’t understand why.

Maybe you've heard about cycling hormones but don't understand who it's for, or how it actually works in real life, and why it might be beneficial.

Those are exactly the conversations we want to have.

What we'll cover:

During the first 20 minutes, Emily and Mai will unpack:

  • What makes physiologic and cyclical hormone therapy different

  • Why two women with similar symptoms may need very different protocols

  • What goes into decisions about dose, timing, delivery method, and formulation

  • How we think about monitoring and adjusting hormones over time

  • What a nurse practitioner and compounding pharmacist wish more women understood about HRT

The rest of our time together will be dedicated to your questions, including the ones you submit when you register and the ones that come up while we're live.

Come with questions. Leave with a clearer understanding of what good hormone care can actually look like.

This conversation is for you if:

You don't just want to know what to take. You want to understand why.

You're interested in hormone therapy, but you're equally interested in the bigger picture: metabolism, sleep, body composition, brain health, longevity, and how the pieces work together.

You believe "within normal range" and "optimal for you" aren't necessarily the same thing.

You want care that can evolve as your body, your goals, and the science change.

You're comfortable asking questions, looking at the evidence, and being part of the decisions about your own care.

And you're looking for more than the most conventional answer. You want to understand what's possible.
